Types of Memberships

Regular Membership

Any corporation, firm or business entity regularly engaged in precision custom manufacturing, through tooling and machining, is eligible to become a Regular member in the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA). Any Regular NTMA member may choose to join the Western Mass Chapter. Regular members have access to all of NTMA’s benefits, services and programs.

Precision Custom Manufacturing is defined to include
companies engaged in:

  • Mold and Die building
  • Precision machining
  • Special tooling
  • Special machine building
  • Die building & production
  • Mold building and production
  • Precision fabricating
  • Special tooling & production
  • Special machine building & production

Associate Membership

A corporation, firm or business entity that is regularly engaged in providing service, equipment, materials or supplies to the precision custom manufacturing machining industry is eligible to become an Associate member of the Western Mass Chapter- National Tooling & Machining Association. Associate members have access to all of the programs and services provided by the WMNTMA They also have access to a limited number of services and programs offered by the NTMA.

WMNTMA Associate Members are:

  • Electroplaters and Metal Finishers
  • Financial Institutions
  • Independent Insurance Agencies Industrial Suppliers
  • Machine Tool Distributors
  • Machine Tool Repair & Service
  • Metal Recyclers
  • Metals Suppliers
  • Tooling Suppliers
