Dan Walker is the North America, Director of Business Development for Tsugami Automation headquartered in Windsor, CT.  Tsugami Automation is a division of Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest suppliers of high performance machine tools and related engineering and support services in North America.

Formerly known as Innovative Machinery Group, Tsugami Automation extends the performance envelope of Tsugami machine tools through the integration of complimentary technologies and engineering of custom tooling solutions. This includes robotic and mechanical loading and unloading systems, laser integration systems, and custom tooling and accessories

Tsugami Automation specializes in integrating robotic and mechanical loading and unloading systems so you can quickly machine nontraditional Swiss parts such as; headed blanks, pre-machined parts and cut-to-length blanks within a small footprint.

The LaserSwiss machines combine the power of CNC Swiss machining with the accuracy and precision of a Laser. You get a customized, optimized, fully integrated laser with all the capabilities of the Tsugami S205, S206 or SS207-5AX. The SS207-5AX is also available with a second laser head for welding!

Dan has over 20 years of precision manufacturing experience and is an enthusiastic advocate for the industry.  Along with serving on the Board of Directors for the Western Mass NTMA, he also serves on the Pathfinder Regional, Vocational, Technical High School Advisory Board.  Dan founded the annual Pathfinder Poker Run which raises money to benefit the Machine Tech Program.  Since 2007, The Pathfinder Poker Run has grown in scope to become a well-organized and well attended annual event which has promoted the Machine Tech program to become one of the most popular shop disciplines.    Dan's vision and mission for the WMNTMA is to promote the inherent value that comes with membership of this great organization.
