Smith Vocational was his catalyst. Gerry Van Pelt knew he'd found his career. His goal was to own a precision machine shop. Honing his skills locally, he set about creating VANPELT Precision. After 13 years recognizing the need for additional space and proximity to his customer base, he moved his shop to Westfield in 2017. Gerry's attention to detail and willingness to take on difficult materials, projects and deadlines with quality always paramount is critical to his success. VANPELT Precision produces components for the aerospace, defense and commercial industries thoughout the valley and Northern Connecticut. Taking on challenging materials, assemblies and complicated projects will always set VANPELT Precision apart.
